Fine By Myself

by PX   Oct 21, 2015

The streets are filled with,
Cheers and laughter.
This is no place for,
The tears of a young girl.
Hurry and run,
Go and search,
For a lonely corner.
When you are sad
It is best to be alone.
I let go of your hands,
But the memories are still here,
Forever anchored in my mind.
Hidden away in my dreams,
I am fine by myself.
Why is it that the more I trust,
The more hurt I am?
With every smile I gave,
A knife was stabbed in my heart.
Is there someone that will never allow,
My heart to be disappointed?
I'll wipe my tears away though,
As I am fine by myself.
