The Victim

by Emperor MAR   Jan 28, 2005

No hearty handshake
No sad goodbye
Heaven holds you & now we cry
A better purpose for this to serve
Can't go the straight line instead we swerve
You weren't supposed to be the victim
You weren't supposed to stand aside & look
Memories in our hearts are sifting
You weren't supposed to be the victim
No phone calls
No door bells
Now we live in our own Hells
A faint heart
A loud scream
When its over Nothing
You weren't supposed to be the victim
You weren't supposed to stand aside & look
Memories in our hearts are sifting
You weren't supposed to be the victim
Rage covers me, ages all been took
Hate clouds me, now my eyes can't find to look
You were supposed to be the victim
We were meant to take our time.
You were supposed to be the victim
That turns our eyes to Christ
