I lie here
in my bed
darkness envelopes me
blankets restricting movement
i call out to you
my voice carried by the still night air

i want you in my life
i want to feel you
i want you
pulsing through my veins
whispering in my air
forever in my thoughts
the voice inside my head
i want things to be how they used to be

but i am still here
in bed
darkness and blankets my cocoon
calling out into the night

I like it! Everyone's felt this way. Keep holding on! :)

"whispering in my air
forever in my thoughts"

Such a sad couplet. the whole poem just made me want to turn on a light to the world.
It's so awful being in the darkness
