A Child's Cry

There once was a young girl named Beth,
who was to young to learn the facts about death.
She loved her mother with all her heart,
then her mother died, even though she promised they would never part.
The tears ran down Beth's little face,
as she went to her mother's new resting place.
Here is where the tears began to flow,
how could God be so cruel she'd never know.
Days went by without any mother guidance,
so every night Beth sat in her room surrounded by silence.
She visited her mother every day,
and missed her more in every way.
She decided she couldn't leave her mother again,
so she decided to join her just then.
She knew she couldn't live without her mother so she ended it all,
by taking one little step but not such a small fall.
Down over a cliff and into a river of raging water,
where she left out a soft low mutter.
She knew she was doing the right thing,
when she was the sky open and her mother and a guardian angel sing.

this poem i wrote it like a year ago when i went to Cuba the lady that lived next to me was dying bcuz her little granddaughter went with her mom !!
