A tribute to the wonderful quotes by Unknown Authors

This morning as I looked up the address for poems and quotes on my phone(the lazy Google way) I saw a poetry quote link that caught my eye. The quote was beautiful but had been signed with the authors name as unknown. It occurred to me that it might bring comfort to someone who has lost a child either pre-birth or early birth and it is so beautiful that it seemed a shame not to share it here and ask if anyone else had read something uplifting or helpful by an unknown author that they might like to share here. As a kind of tribute to talented unknown authors so their work doesn't get lost.

"An angel in the book of life wrote down my baby's birth, then whispered as she closed the book "Too beautiful for birth" (taken from www.hull-sands.org.uk)

    Terrific idea, Milly

Reportedly carved in Stone over a school door:

    Be careful of your thoughts,
    - for your thoughts become your words.
    Be careful of your words,
    - for your words become your deeds.
    Be careful of your deeds.
    - for your deeds become your habits.
    Be careful of your habits,
    - for your habits become your character.
    Be careful of your character,
    - for your character becomes your destiny.

    Beautiful quote (and idea!)

"I see my fated stars in your eyes. They melt me like the sun does snow."
