People die,
It's the way life goes,
When your number's up, it's up,
Every body knows.

People cry,
It's the way the world works,
But all the logic in the world,
Can never stop the hurt.

People lie,
It's the way they choose,
To forget all the pain,
And forget what they lose.

People give up,
Just sit back and watch them go,
But, babe, I'll keep fighting,
Because I love you so.

    Really reall good poem!
    a lot of emotion and you have really laid out your poem well!
    and you have used a great style of wording!
    also the ending is just perfect
    "But, babe, I'll keep fighting,
    Because I love you so."
