My baby boy

October first 2007 4 in the morning
the day i became a dad
to tyrese leo carter splockton

thinking everything is going to be alright
but 2 days later
woke up in the corner of the roon on a chair
with strangers in the room

i see my girl in bed waking up
my son bundled up next to his mommy
the both of us is wondering whats going on

the room is silent
the strangers finllay speak to us
they say that they have to take our baby boy
as soon as we heard those words
tears fall from our cheeks

im thinking how could this happen
what did we do wrong
is my son going to be gone
gone for ever

as we both sit there with tears
all we have is fears

they're saying that they
have to take him
because they think that we cant
take care of our baby
and because we didnt say anything

both of our side of the family
we all fight for whats ares not theres

a few weeks later we got our baby back
thats the good thing but the bad thing is
that they have to keep checking up on us
to see if were taking good care of our baby

the day we fought for our baby in court
the ones that took him
got in trouble by the judge
because they did something they werent supose to do
