A Time Less Winter...

by Amanda Cleveland   Feb 8, 2008

Like a giant body of water
Frozen from a timeless winter
You skate pictures over it
Not about to care what lies under that rock like substance

You tear and tear away at its body
With those sharp razors
Its cuts get deeper and deeper
And yet it doesnt bleed

But suddenly
It starts to crack
And take people in
The ones who hurt it the most

It takes them in so it can learn
Not only from there mistakes but there criticism
There cuts on him will always run deep
And the marks they made will stay for ever

Cause its like a body of water
Frozen in a time less winter
Allowing some to skate pictures on it
To keep them from seeing what lies under its barrier
