I Never Thought...

As I roam this world,

I live my life off of morals and virtues;

Never holding regrets

b/c revenge can only lead to

a miserable and painful death!

But as I reminisce on the disappointed,

I hold not hatred but fury

b/c the way "it" showed its feelings

was through non-existence.

Forever bashing its soul from past mistakes,

I blamed "it" for its distance

but I never took the opportunity

to play a part of my own!

As a result, I'm more guilty

than "it" itself!!!!!!!!!!

As the angel of mine explained,

I finally released myself from

the barrier of fury,

for I need to be "The Better Person!"

Through all the things "it"

burns deep in my soul,

I apologize!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
