Simple Things

by Painless Sorrow   Feb 8, 2008

This Ten Ton weight made from brick
It's breaking my bones and makes me sick.
This fractured piece of blood stained steel
I refuse to cut myself till i can feel.
There is really nothing i can do
For me to make it clear to you.
This little fact of love.
Makes it so there is no blood.

How do i See again?
How do i Feel again?
How do i Think again?
I Go back to the Simple Things.
Go back to Simple things.

What is the lie that they call Waking up?
Why are their tears filling up my Cup?
Rapture is the only key as a Boy.
I learned love was not a toy.
I always stopped to count the cars as they go by.
They always sped up as if to say good bye.
I would always go to the Candy Store
Buying items for 5 cents or more.
I used to go bye the name of Lynch.
But i've been broke down by this Ten Ton Brick.

How do i See again?
How do i Feel again?
How do i Think again?
I Go back to the Simple Things.
Go back to Simple things.
