My life

I live in a life,
One nobody knows.
One in which
Pain constantly grows

I live behind
A shield of lies.
You continue to watch
Me fade silently by.

You sense them all,
Each and everyone.
Too many emotions
Make me feel so numb.

I still carry on,
Through the days,
Hoping you would come
And take this pain away.

You will not come.
I know it's true.
Still living a lie.
Nothing is new.
