Bestfriends or Lovers

What happened when a guy
falls in love with his best friend
will this be a start of new beginning
or a bitter end?

Everyday they hang out
everyday they're together
people couldn't help but to think
that they are lovers

The girl keeps saying "That's impossible!"
little does she know it kills him inside
He knows there was no hope
now he has all these feelings to hide

Then one day the girl came up to him
she said she has a new lover
then ask him how come he doesn't have one
He said "I can never have her..."

The girl asked "Why???"
He said "We can't be together.."
She said "Why not??"
He said "Because we're best friends not lovers"

The girl was shocked at the moment
her eyes widened, deceived by her ears
the guy noticed the awkwardness
but can't take it back, the words were loud and clear

she didn't know the right words to say
he looked at her, she looked away
he look back again, and saw her walk away...
