Eternal fate

by kate f   Feb 11, 2008

The pain that one girl holds.
her story is never quite easy,
just like the guys could be so sleazy.
thrown int into a world she never wanted.
one filled with hate,
if only she knew it was her eternal fate.
eventually she turned to drugs,
she used them as her plugs.
to ease her pain,
no one to pull back the rein.
next cane the cutting,
her heart flooding.
with dark and morbid thoughts.
she fought and fought.
only to get pushed back down,
wanting to drown.
to put a stop to all feelings.
no one knew what was truly going on,
she had hid it so well.
contemplating what to do next,
thinking she was hexed.
of thought about death,
by now she was trying meth.
all her friends and family worried,
it simply wasn't enough to bring her back.
eventually she grows older,
by now she feels even colder.
pain written all over her face,
wishing for someone to take her place.
she never knew life was so hard,
she thought it was like a game of cards.
when in fact it really was,
she was just on the losing side,
knowing it wasn't an easy ride,
but yet she tried and tried.
eventually she decides she's done,
she never had any of her fun.
finally she is free,
never again to flee.
