Beyond the Forbidden

by Emilline   Feb 11, 2008

Rain sprinkles upon the forbidden ground
Sprouting the life where there was once dead
Hearts bloom to the songs of mating birds
But a path of darkness lies ahead

Tears fall into the depths of another world
Hearts beat to the everlasting scream
We all fall to the gates of the forbidden
Looking for the light and gleam

Water runs through the streams of land
Blooming all that once was there
Birds sing their song of forever and love
We look beyond the gates of forbidden and stare

Oooo really like the title, and you used some great imagery here. Love the use of the word "blooming". Very effective,
