Sitting in Sorrow

by Gale   Feb 12, 2008

You sit in your sorrow
And cry tears of regret
Your conscience pleading for your soul
You know better that this
But yet the unknown still calls
Yearning for more excitement
You blindly follow
Ultimately wanting to die
Why do you pain yourself?
You let yourself go
And then turn again
To your reserved self
Wishing nothing to happen
But still wallowing in your self-pity
Is it for pleasure
Or pain?
Whichever it is
I would surely stop
Before someone gets hurt.
