Until the very End

by Gabrielle   Feb 12, 2008

Please don't say that now we've been defeated,
that after all the struggle we are only another lesson learned.
Can't we just let go of all that hurts us?
And remember those moments when you were so sure.

I am not going to pretend that my spirit has not been broken,
That at times my tears hurt more than my wounds.
But when you hold me I know love is worth the consequence.
Even now I can't deny you're the only one I choose.

You can try to reconstruct my words just so they'll hurt you,
Over analyze the situation until it finally makes sense.
But my hands are still reaching out...
And I will love you with all I am until the very end.
