I'm sorry that I didn't try hard enough

by Lemma   Feb 13, 2008

I'm sorry that I didn't listen enough
You were right, I should have made my voice heard.

I'm sorry that I didn't fight strong enough
And that my final judgement was blurred.

I'm sorry that I didn't stand firm enough
It was my decision that I should have made.

I'm sorry that I'm no longer there with you
I honestly wish that I'd stayed.

I'm sorry that though I apologise,
It makes no difference to you still.

I'm sorry that I didn't try hard enough
But from now on and forever, I will.

It was short sweet yet to the point and was filled with power. Your thoughts were well expressed and I enjoyed the style in which you wrote in. Overall it was great read. Well done *5/5*

Very beautifully written. you experssed your sorrow very nicely and I really like the repitition. It flowed nicely with the rest of the poem. The last four lines were definitely my favorite lines of all. :] 5/5.
