Love, distance, devotion

I closed my eyes last night to fall asleep
but my reality is better than I could ever dream
I curled up tight with my teddy bear
he keeps me comforted when your not here
as the feeling set in as lonely and weak
I took a deep breath and said" just breathe"
I find myself sad when we are apart
although were are close in spirit, and in heart
I try to be strong when I am here all alone
but I thank God for knowing I have someone to hold
I would rather have some distance between us
then have a relationship that doesn't mean much
for the first time ever I am deeply in love
it is all predestined from way up above
your mother, your father or Jesus himself
all put together or one in them self
they have chosen us to share one soul
took two halves and made us whole
on a day like to day when people show love
I wish we could be closer together
but I know its OK cause we have forever
tomorrow, next month or even next year
my love is everlasting, it wont disappear
you hold my heart in the palms of your hands
I am your girl and you are my man
regardless the status, the names people give us
the reality is there is love all between us
My Husband, My Lover or my Best Friend
I don't know when this started
but I know theres no end
what we have is forever, this I do swear
so know that I love you from here to there
I mean every word, your trust I wont shatter
I am who I say, I mean ever after.
I kiss my fingers and blow into the air
I close my eyes and watch it fly
it passes the trees go up in the sky
its coming to get you ,you cant try to hide, its like cupids arrow still stuck in your side
there is a force between all that we do
it protects us, it bonds us
it finds us wherever
it keeps us in love and fills the space in-between us.
