There once was a little girl who was always so happy, and glad,
Then one day she turned mad, and sad
Why she felt this way she did not know, and slowly her family took control
They told her what to do what to say, Who to love, who to hate
Slowly each and every day she felt a little part of her self die, All she wanted to do was curl up and cry
For years she let this way go by, the one day she started to question, Why?
Her whole life she had been told what to do and what to say
She needed to get away
But try as she might, her family did put up a fight
She needed to get out, all they do is scream and shout
They didn't want her to go away, they wanted her to stay
So the could run her life forever
But one day she took off and ran,
She never did look back, not EVER.
