His Caress

by Cathy   Feb 14, 2008

His soft gentle hands caressed my skin
there was no explaining the heaven I was in
my heart was racing, I couldn't speak
my mind was spinning, I was getting weak

I tried to fight the love I felt
tried to think of something else, anything to block it out
I didn't want to love him the way I loved him before
I wanted to say leave, when he walked through my door

But just his smile, just had me so hypnotized
I couldn't see the man I once despised
he pulled me closer, and whispered in my ear
how much he missed me, and it brought me to tears

He kissed my lips, and put his hand over mine
looked me in my eyes and asked if we could try one more time
I should have said no, but I ended up saying yes
my pride was gone with a simple caress
