Misleading My Heart

by 1Mistake   Feb 17, 2008

These misspoken words,

Played out like a lullaby,

Sweet and calm,

Filled my heart with joy.

Laughter and romance is all we knew,

That changed, and your heart turned cold,

Hollowing out my soul, making it hard to believe.

These things you spoken pure and true,

Turn my love bitter, sour and cruel.

Love fails, good never conquers over evil,

and reality is our only true fate.

Misleading those naive and innocent,

Turning your hate to madness,

Sickness becomes your best friend.

And all that remains.

Is life.

You did an amazing job with all the feelings, the flow was great too.
