A Girl

by Matt L   Feb 17, 2008

Something in me was pierced by her eyes
From across the row a cold stare of burning malice
Strangers completely yet the closest of friends
An entire life time of companionship in single second
Understanding the hate, Understanding the fury

The arms of your lover a vice around your breasts
Hard as stone fragile as a butterfly
A single touch would calm the giant
Safety and comfort for freedom
Hating yourself for loving Hating yourself for hating

It was not lust that consumed me but love
Love with a nameless girl in the arms of a nameless boy
Dreams and fantasies
A heart repaired then broken in endless minutes
Your love completed me Your love has destroyed me
