Fading to black.

by twistedlover   Feb 17, 2008

The things we say when the others not around

Are the feelings the same?

Is this just one big game?

Emptiness is filling me

The growing darkness is on

Devouring the dawn

Its seems we aren't even there

Takes away my breath of air

Screaming oh god help me

Thinking oh baby please

Though we got here through the tears

Though we got here through our fears

Though we got here through the sneers

The lights where dimmed and we fade to black,

But the thoughts of us, they seemed so perfect so where did we go wrong

I thought this was the one, the one I could always trust

The one relationship that wouldn't die from rust

Though the lights are dimmed and here we fade to black

Aww this is so sad. My favourite line:

"The lights where dimmed and we fade to black,"

Although I think you mean "were." I like the repetition of this line as well. Some of the rhyme seemed a little forced but otherwise it's a great poem.
