Her's to Keep.

by Courtney Lynn   Feb 18, 2008

With a twisted smile
and tears on her cheak
She ponders the words
she dare not speak.

She bites her lip
and balls up a fist,
she knows it's been too long
living life like this.

She's the deffinition of imperfection
and though no one seems to care,
it's only her reality, and it's too much to bare.

She's too proud for help
and too stubborn for defeat
So she swallows her pride
for her shame is her's to keep.

Short but sweet, good job. I was expecting something different from the title, but it was very good.
