Final Goodbye

by coverd in darkness   Feb 18, 2008

Someday i'd be ready,
Finally let go,
Be able to delete the messages of the memories,
Fun times we shared in the time we had,
Until i was ready couldn't imagine them going,
For it would leave me nothing from you,
They helped me stay strong,
Get through the darkest of hours,
You knew things no one else knew,
About me and the secret guy,
So many stories we shared,
What do i do when they go,
When i'm not prepared,
Now they are gone,
I didn't let them go,
They are gone from my phone gone from my head,
Some rose thorns have scrapped me,
Here i can see i wasn't ready,
Yet for a final goodbye,
For i still don't know where you got buried,
Needed to at least know that before,
I could let the messages go,
They are gone,
A hole grows in me,
Somethings missing breaking me in two,
Guess this has to be a final goodbye to you.

5/5 strong emotion. i'm also sorry that it turned out like this. *hugs*. the layout of the poem is great and it flows well. like the subtly rhyming and rythym very nice. can feel the sadness, to the biggest extent possible. and i really am sorry its so bad *hugs*
