The Love Game

by Anayeli Morales   Feb 18, 2008

Could this be a dream
Could I have stopped loving you
Could I have really lost you
If its true then I'll stop fighting for your love

Is it the love letters that bring you back
The loneliness that makes me remember you
Or maybe its the soap operas
In which your eyes meet my own while drinking coffee

I would love to close my eyes
And start our love story all over again
Will I ever forget the passioned love we had
And tell you that I finally don't love you anymore

I may stop loving you but I really doubt it
Its like seeing a fish from the sea fly
And even though I may stop loving you
Its impossible to forget you

If you teached me how to love someone
Then teach me how to forget this feeling I feel for you
Because your the only one I could ever
Love and care for

In my veins I carry the magic of your kiss,
And the meaning of love
In the end of this love game you were the winner
And today I now suffer for you

Maybe the pain you left in my heart will stay for long
Who ever invented the love game should have
Applied rules to the game prevent someone
From getting their heart broken

Every morning an idiot wakes up
And I'm one of them
Mommy told me to not cry for men
And for you thats what I do

I learned to love being at your side
You caused me a great damage
You were my teacher and in your love classes
You didn't teach me about the consequences

Please baby show me to forget you
I have noticed that your presence isn't the same
If you no longer love me
I didn't know how bad the love game would hurt
And now I sit here all on my own crying for you

(I would really like to know what you think about my poem even suggestions on how to make it better
Thank You [{JELI}])
