A True Friend

by Anayeli Morales   Jan 20, 2009

Anytime you feel alone
Remember I'm at the end of the phone
The years may fly, and my tears may dry
But, our friendship will never die

Like the rain in the jungle you fell into my life
And if the question were ever to be
"What's more important if me or your life?"
The answer would be my life

Not Knowing that without you
There is no such thing as life
And if the kisses I gave you turned
Into droplets of water, you'd have a whole sea

It took 2 hours to know you
A day to love your personality
And a week to be your best friend
But, it'll take more than an entire life

To be able to forget you and erase you from my heart
The heart in which you've been engraved
Like the words on a grave
I know that when my time on earth is up

I'll wait for you and when it's dark
I'll lead you into the light and
We'll walk together hand in hand
On the pathway of heaven that's made out of gold.

Dedicated to: All my friends(especially Janine Fuentes)
