Leavin silently in the night

by Willow   Feb 19, 2008

It's late, like every night,
But she just can't sleep.
She's contemplating the rest of her life,
Because she's fallen too deep.

Her eyes, the windows to her soul,
Are like an abandoned house,
So empty and hollow,
So alone....

Her heart holds every sorrow,
That she inhaled with each breathe,
Tearing her to pieces,
Bit by little bit.

she starts to write a letter,
Full of sadness and remorse.
The words just flow from the pen,
And her body starts to rock.

She drowns the page in her pain,
Knowing exactly what she will do next.
Sweet tears run down her cheeks,
And she wonders why life is so complex.

Her heart flutters at the thought,
Of her life fading into the night.
She takes her last breathe,
As darkness enlopes her sight.

She dies......
Never looking back on this mistake.
The last tear dries,
On a soul that will never awake.

I'm sorry, but I didn't think that this piece was worth a 5/5, like the other person, so I gave you my true opinion, a 3/5. I just thought it was, ok, nothing special, good or bad. Sorry. Maybe it's because it's about the same old pain, and suicide thing that's been over used.
