Black Tears ...

by brittany19   Feb 20, 2008

The black tear trickles down the young girls cheek.
a young pre-teen girl confused.
confused of who her true identity is
feels as though everyone in the entire world is out to get her, out to fight against her every word.
she feels as though no one listens, that no body cares.
she fights to stand her ground but looses because she is still so young and naive.
the only she has let to do is cry.
she cries. the tears turn black from her mascara.
the mascara in which she puts on to make herself feel beautiful but hides away her natural beauty.
she is entering a big dark scary world. one that is full of responsibility, high expectations, strong emotions and heart break.
she is stuck between 2 worlds
she is stuck as a child, a life she doesn't necessarily want to leave, a life that is familiar and she is stuck entering into the adult world which is unknown and frightening.
more black tears trickle down her cheeks
more confusion, doubt, frustration and sadness overwhelm her.
she just wishes people could understand her
she wishes time could be put on pause
more and more black tears fill her eyes
one day she will know how many people care and love her.
stop crying...
we love you...

* thats about my younger sister
