The days go by, one by one,
And every one seems to go by slower and slower.
Slower and slower with each second.
Time ticks and keeps on going.
The time apart is making me numb.
I seem to be in a daze,
And all I do is think about you.
My mind keeps racing,
And I want to escape.
Escape to a place where we can be free.
Free of troubles and worries.
Free of stress and others.
A place where we can be together with no other distractions.
But life is cruel, and for now that cannot be.
So we take each day at a time.
Every second, minute, and hour.
Every tick and tock.
Cherishing the time we have with each other.
