I will let you down, i will make you hurt

by wistful   Feb 21, 2008

It's weird what some of my friends expect from me, it's totally different from what I expect from them. It bothers me more than often. Sometimes it can be the strongest feeling I get. Shouldn't friends except you for everything that you are, and not try to rub at your insecurities? And why do people do that anyway? It's the subtleties, and the comments made in jest that hurt the most. I know from experience.

As i grow older i realise what real friends are. People who help build the confidence, instead of playing on insecurites.

Accept your friends for however much they can give you at any one time. We all have different situations, and don't let time apart blur what you know you already have.

it never fades if you don't let it.
(here's to wishful thinking.)
