Color my world

by Brookie   Feb 21, 2008

I lay awake on my bed hidden from anyone and anything to come.
The lights are off the color drained out I lay alone emotionless and Colorless.
My world is dull as I sit and think.
As the lighting shrieks down I jump in fright for color just hit me not by moon but by light.
The color comes seeping in under the door, the warmth of happiness and joy the color of yellow. Bright dazzling red running through my fingers with love and all the gifts one could desire. Calm blue struggles to come for so much life has crept through my door. I feel alive and happy and well. If only I didn't have to wait so long to be filled with life of the colors of the world in which they belong. The colors color my world and turns it inside out. If we didn't have color than we would be lost in a world of darkness and life would be forever black and white.
