Lesson Learned

Another lesson learned,
another heart to mend
Many have the same question,
when will it ever end?

Happens all the time,
one right after the next
We all begin to think,
this will go on forever.

No cure discovered yet,
none may ever be found
Right now there's some alternatives,
way too many to even count.

Eat a box of chocolates,
or a tub of ice cream will do the trick
Throw away every picture
everything that once made you two click.

But that wont help forever,
because the memories will always last
There's just one odd reason,
to why you can't forget the past.

The pain will always be there,
your officially tainted
You're stuck in this pit for eternity,
there's no way to get out so save it.

Just remember you're not alone,
there are many who are cursed with this fate
Another broken heart to mend,
with another man to hate.
