Still waiting for your return

by linkhorizon   Feb 22, 2008

The past is gaining on me
tomorrow leaves me behind
present in time cannot agree
revolution and world oceans are so unkind

i barely move and still
stone still and alone again
the year is no more a thrill
leaving me on my own to fend

lonesome nights haunting me
my cold breath resounding your name
absent in the warmth of your familiarity
crawling to find an open crevice into your place

your return is long overdue
the sun wont rest on my bedside luminious
this patience only few can subdue
still reaching over into nothingness

destiny can't compare
for my heart knows only this nymph i'm searching
our plans we bear
until then i'll keep waiting
