Once Upon a time never ends with Happy Endings

* I hate thinking up titles for my poems, i always get stuck; oh well enjoy!

Once Upon a Time...
a warrior of darkness
fell for an angel of light
he tried to convince her
to join him with the night

But day was her home
and she couldn't leave,
Her love for him
just couldn't be,

She desperately wanted to be with him
and it nearly broke her heart,
he wanted to be with her
and this is where the problem starts,

You see the angel was no ordinary angel
for she was the one,
the next angel to carry the burden of the sun,

And the warrior was the protector of the
one who brought the night
and theses two clans for centuries were
always in a fight,

On how the earth shall forever stay,
in the night or in the day,

And so how to solve this problem
that troubled them both,
It was only days before the
angel took her oath,

then in one fateful battle
the one who carried the moon,
he was badly injured that he
fell to his doom,

and now the warrior
was the next in line,
to carry the
darkness for all of time,

But the angel and the warrior
found a way,
to stay together forever always,

a treaty would be made
so the moon and the Sun,
Would be put in the sky together
and share the sun as one,

Yet as easy as it sounded
many oppose,
Each sided couldn't
think of being friendly with foe,

And so the day came when
the angel took the sun,
The warrior heart-broken
couldn't believe their enemy's
have won,

so as the angel took
flight,
The warrior stole the moon
and fallowed the light,

Yet sadly the sun was
too far away and all warrior could do
was fallow behind,
And this is how it has been
for all of time......
