The cost of a soul, Vampire poem

by XxAlysxX   Feb 23, 2008

In a world of darkness,
A lonely figure stands alone
And solitude greets him
no place to call his own,
In the shadow dwells his spirit
and life hides from the dead,
And time goes by and it messes with
your head,
Chains tie him to our world
and cut deep into his flesh,
a reminder that the world is cruel
it doesn't matter if your alive or dead,
doom to take the life of those
whose heart still beat,
So close to death yet will never meet,
Vampire immortal yet so so lost,
you gave your soul but at what cost?
