Wasted Love

by Reaching Out   May 19, 2004

We see each other everyday at school.
You walk and talk like everything's cool.
We sit at our tables and glance during lunch.
When we passed through the halls you didn't say much.
I think that you're nothing and you know it too.
You've made me act and look like such a fool.
All the promises we make were always broke.
Such a lump in my throat just makes me choke.
Saying you like me was just a lie.
You've hurt me so much you've made my soul die.
I can't make your choices you have to make your own.
Right now I can't even talk to you on the phone.
You've made me cry again and again.
You will no longer be know as my friend.
Wasting love all for who?
No reason to waste it all on you.
You'll never be worth it so just let it be.
You need to realize what you did to me.
Wasted love comes and goes.
As we watch it all as it unfolds.
I gave you my heart, I gave you my soul.
Take all the memories and burn 'em in coal.
Goodbye to you, that someone I once loved.
I heard the call of change, the mourning dove.
Goodbye to you my old love forever.
I don't want to see you never or ever!
