When She Died

The rain poured down

on a warm summer's night

I stare at you

and you stare at me

I look down into the water

then up at your face

though it is raining

you can tell i am crying

the rain had stopped

it had seemed like hours

the moonlight shines on his face

he is crying now too

we know why we're crying

i take his hand and he stares at me

he looks at the water

and then at the sky

then he stares at me

with his big blue eyes

I don't want you to go''

but i shake my head

and kissed him goodbye

then i walked away towards the sky
