Abused

Roses are red
violets are blue
i know a girl
that gets abused

she gets beat
hands and feet
bleeding,
bruises,
marks,
and scars

friends all ask
she gives excusses
she wears a mask
to hide confusion
"why me?"
she says
"what did i do?"

her dad is drunk
her mom is high
don't give a damn
