She doesn't want to hear

by Christina   Feb 25, 2008

He tells you what you want to hear,
whispers sweet nothings in your ear.
But none of it is true,
and knowing this is killing you.
Desperately you want to believe,
that he would never leave.
But inside your falling part,
because the mind says the opposite of your heart.
Such sweet lies that where said,
leaving you awake in your bed.
Pillow case is soaked in tears,
Hide from all your fears.
How do you know that what he says is a lie,
because every night you cry.
You want him to stay,
But it would best if he went away.
Lets you slip into a dream full of bliss,
At the simple gesture of a kiss.
Lies are all you hold dear,
when he thinks hats all you want to hear.
