My Heart's Thriving on Misery

by Naomi   Feb 26, 2008

You made up your mind a long time ago,
Knowing all my questions were answered no.
So should I permit my heart to beat?
Or should I propose a scene to make it bleed?

I know I smacked you with a bit of delviltry.
Knowing you were'nt designed for hell.
It drove you to resent me,
Which left me with misery and the lost of my sanity!

And all of our memories,
Drowned my eyes.
And all the lies,
Are filling up my lungs.
To the point where I refuse to breathe!
So I'm holding my breath
For these to leave.
Knowing I could be holding for the rest of my life,
Where hell dwells on catastrophes,
I'm sorry...

(I don't know if this poem makes sense to anyone)
