Save me, I am dying.

by Em   Feb 26, 2008

(*Note, this is just a typical poem, I know some people felt this way... SOME.)

My heart is racing,
I don't have much time.
This is the final day,
I really want to die.
Blood is rushing to my head,
Is this the right thing to do?
I know this isn't the time to feel unsure.
My breathing get's low and heavy,
I curse myself.
What am I doing to myself?
I could feel the cold sweat running down my face.
A voice in my head is screaming,
"Stop it, please stop this!"
I'm feeling so confused,
Fear is on my mind,
Life is short but death is a long time.
I need to snap out of this,
The question is, how?
Then I tell myself,
"One last phone call, it'll be alright."
I call up a friend,
And pour my heat out.
My friend began to cry,
So have I.
My friend starts to beg,
I listen to her pleas.
I think that's when I realized,
Someone cares for me.
