Your voice

by Viola   Feb 29, 2008

There's a void there
Eating at the soul
The feeling of being completely alone
After being so connected
To everyone surrounding you

Strong bonds broke loose
And threw themselves away
Without a consultation

The emptiness
The bare beauty of your voice
You carried me home
You carried me home
You carried me home

'Till it's home no more
Reality had to hit hard after all

But your voice, those moments
Can so easily touch my soul
Can move me
When nothing else seems to anymore

I am amazed at the way
Your voice makes my insides dissolve
Till the very last song
For the rest of my life
I'll remember that night
And the way you carried me home
For the first time in my life
