A Womans Shattered Dream [[Story I Wrote]]

It was a dark beautiful night. The moon shined brighter than a beam of light in the darkness. The night couldn't have been anymore romantic. The thought of Sarah and Jeremy's incessant love seemed well, only to know in just a couple of minutes it would all be over.
For Sarah it was love at first sight when she saw Jeremy. Quarter back of the football team. He was tall and handsome a walking conundrum waiting to be solved. Sarah was the head cheerleader. She had the perfect smile with the most beautiful sea blue eyes. It was obvious they were destined to be together.
Walking down the beach with the biggest most beautiful smile on her face, Sarah just couldn't take the fact that this perfect night was destitute. There was no sound except that of the undying ocean. Finally Jeremy gathered enough courage to say, "Sarah, we need to talk" "What is it?" Sarah asked. Before Jeremy replied he took a sip of his soda in which now was suddenly insipid. Agonized he said, "The dreams you have for us I once had too, but now its all so clear to me, I just don't love you the way i used to". Sarah stopped and sat on the cold wet sand. She quietly started to cry.
About thirty minutes had passed and still Sarah hadn't said a word. In a low voice Jeremy whispered, "Sarah please don't be sad, I just think its the right thing to do." Staring at the sunset Sarah softly blubbered, "It hurts to know my dreams are now broken and shattered but only for the best, If this is really what you want then I'm all for it".
As Jeremy stood up to say goodbye Sarah whispered in his ear, "I loved you then, I love you now, I always have and always will". Letting go of Jeremy was like a nightmare come true for Sarah, but its what she had to do. Slowly they turned and walked away from each other and not once did they look back.
Its been three years now, and still Sarah reminisces on the past. Her and Jeremy are no longer friends, but still she thanks him. She is now in a new happy relationship, ready to take on whatever life throws her way, and all because of that one heartbreak Sarah is now stronger and on her way.
