Freedom

by allidoiswrite82   Mar 1, 2008

And so I'm off to a place where the oaks populate my views
Off to the land where the scent of wet tree sap trickles freely, entrapping the ladybugs
Past the hills of Toroboro far beyond the smog
Next to the rivers that sing to the sky and calls to the brown bear
Yes there

To that cabin
Is where you'll find me
Lost in the fields of dandelions and daises
My hide away from me
Away from the hustle that bustles
And street car tussles
An untouched piece of sanity

To breathe in the air that has yet to be tarnished
And bathe in the warmth of an untamed sun
To sing with the creatures of every life-form
I doubt I'll return when I'm done
