The day you left you held me in your arms
Told me you'd be back soon, not to be sad
I waited and waited

You left when I was three
They came when I was four
The big people in uniforms
Came knocking at my door

Mom went to answer it, I had no idea
All I remember is I heard mom cry
And then aunt came
And told me you had to die

Mom said you went to heaven
They said you fought well
How could you have left me
In this forsaken hell

I miss you SO much daddy,
is heaven really far?
How long would it take
If I were to drive in a car?

Is it just around the world
Or around the corner?
Mom said that you didn't die fast
The failed to find you an organ donor

If it was OK
