Ritual Eclipse

by Sky   Mar 2, 2008

Screaming voices want me dead
Screaming sorrow in my head
Whispering softly, angels sing
Together, circled, in this ring

Sweetly singing, a song of death
I must remember, take a breath
This peaceful song of anguish and rejoice
Yet in this song, I have no voice

The angels circle, my spinning brain
This twisted web, I can't stay sane
I see the flashes, of black and light
Soon enough, my head's alight

I cannot see, the world's a'spin
I fight for freedom, but the ending's begin
The moon is full, covered by an eclipse
Slowly now, my conscious slips

This covered world, the sun is hidden
For in this ritual it is forbidden
My head is foggy, in a daze
My eyes can't see you, in this haze

I fight for freedom, I see the light
A tiny glimpse, not very bright
My fingers stretch, I'm almost saved
For this hope, that's dearly craved....
