Silent Seduction

by Sky   Mar 2, 2008

Silent seduction, the beckoning knife
Twisted words sweetly sung
Wrapping snuggly around my life
My sense of pride, coming undone

My loveless addiction, I cannot halt
Stripping me of dignity and hope
In my insecurities, I begin to fault
But with my blade, I learn to cope

My dripping blood, my true love
My razor sharp, my only friend
Twisted angels sing above
Stand by me, until the end

I hold you close my lover
I need you by my side
The angels whisper, now shove her
I've lost my sense and pride

My body left, gone with my spirit
My soul is trapped, between life or death
The angels are whispering, now I can hear it
The endless road, through addiction and meth

I bring disgrace, I cannot cry
My only weakness, I am now immune
I cannot perish here, I cannot die
This heavenly bliss, is not my tomb....
