New Start

by Shyla   Mar 3, 2008

Soft skin folds around to meet, the warmth of the sun from between the drifting white clouds. The brown eyes of my mind lift to see the wishes, the life I have been longing for. Stone walls no longer stand harsh and demanding but lay low protecting this new life I seek. Fields of colour wash over the span of my life, the dead grass and weeds of my past have been cut out and thrown away to make room for the flowering future that lay ahead, still will no one take my hand? There is one, one for sure who sits beside me. Stone green eyes as fresh as a forest stream run through my mind, reading my thoughts, understanding. Lift me from the sorrows that have been here surrounding me for so long. You will not stumble for I will help to fulfill the dreams you have for me.
