Biggest mistake

by lost   Mar 3, 2008

Lies, mistakes, better off this way
To you I loved to you I loved
This pain you've caused
As you threw me across
A sea of memories
With a fast moving current
Meant to rip me away
From the life I've made
To shred the walls I've set
To keep you out to shut you out
So maybe

Maybe when I grow up
Or maybe when I get a life
Could it be that maybe
Someday I might change
From all these wicked ways
You've thrust upon my mind
And maybe, maybe
You might see me for who I am
And not for the mistakes I've made
So maybe

Maybe one day
Maybe some day
Maybe when I die
Possibly when you stop to cry
When they stand before my nailed up coffin
As their tears fall onto this wooden frame
And life tears at the seams
When I've moved on from you
Would the world finally see me
As something more than the mistakes I've made
Or will it be

Will it be the same old thing
The tears, the pictures
The fire, the fading memory
Of me they'll have
I'll be set aside on some dusty shelf
Feeling sorry for my self
With a given right my soul will flee
Into a world far worse
Than the one you made for me
There I will call it home
There I will scream in pain
There I will know
That I was your biggest mistake

That was amazing, but you shouldn't have to feel that youre anyone's biggest mistake. although, i really don't have room to talk on that one. i'm a total hypocrite. anyway, 5/5.
